Shelter of Wisdom - Where Healing Begins
Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 NIV
OUTREACH
Shelter of Wisdom reaches out to the most vulnerable, hopeless, desperate, and unapproachable homeless individuals.
He stoops to look, and He lifts the poor from the dirt and the needy from the garbage dumps.  Psalm 113:6
ADVOCACY
Shelter of Wisdom provides focused advocacy for each individual, networking with appropriate public service providers to obtain and establish permanent and healthy integration into housing and community services.
Lord, You know the hopes of the helpless. Surely You will listen to their cries and comfort them.

Psalm 10:17
The godly know the rights of the poor...

Proverbs 29:7

SHELTER
Shelter of Wisdom provides temporary crisis shelter for eligible individuals who are receiving advocacy.
All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of Your wings.  You feed them from the abundance of Your own house, letting them drink from your rivers of delight.  For You are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.

Psalm 36:7-9
"BE THE ONE"
Shelter of Wisdom meets  recipients' essential needs through your contribution to:
"Be the one" to contribute to rent subsidy.
"Be the one" to provide a rental unit.
"Be the one" to sponsor a dental bill.
"Be the one" to sponsor a landline phone.
"Be the one" to join a mentor team.
"Be the one" to meet the need.
But if anyone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need and refuses to help - how can God's love be in that person?
1 John 3:17
Every part of God's creation is precious to Him; and people, being made in His image are most precious.
Let us share our resources, so that the most vulnerable amongst us will be carefully provided for.
For I was hungry and you fed me.  I was thirsty and you gave me a drink.  I was homeless and you invited me into your home.  I was naked and you gave me clothing.  I was sick and you cared for me.  I was in prison and you visited me.
